“One generation shall praise Your works to another, And shall declare Your mighty acts. On the glorious splendor of Your majesty And on Your wonderful works, I will meditate. Men shall speak of the power of Your awesome acts, And I will tell of Your greatness. They shall eagerly utter the memory of Your abundant goodness And will shout joyfully of Your righteousness.”
Psalms 145:4-7 NASB
This is how we got here. By a generation after generation, sharing with each other who God is and what He has done in our lives. Telling about his goodness and his wonderful work.
I am “just” 31 years old and I believe that is so much more ahead of me. But my mistake is to believe that I am not old. The author of Psalms teaches me that my generation should praise God to the next generation, so they can get to know who God is, by what I lived, learn and experience. It is about the rise of a new generation. It is to see and help the generation after mine to rise with even brighter fire in their heart, a deeper love for God, a stronger commitment with their faith, and a more sensitive heart to listen God.
Thank you Lord you gave me a passion to reach out the young generation. Thank you for your work in the lives of the children in Kids Ministry, teenagers in Resonate and young adults in Fuse. Thank you for the leadership you have been raising inside of these ministries. I pray that by spend time with them, they can learn much more about you that I have learned. They can go deeper in intimacy with you. Help us to rise a generation with a brighter fire than ours. In Jesus name I pray.
