“But the voice spoke again: “Do not call something unclean if God has made it clean.””
Acts of the Apostles 10:15 NLT
How many times we judge people by their appearance, their hobby or their outside. We sometimes even judge who is clean or unclean, holy or unholy, righteous or wicked. The truth is that all of us did not deserve anything from God. We were messed up in our sins, but God brought us back to life. He cleaned people like us that was unclean.
By his grace we were salved. Through the blood, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, his sacrifice and forgiveness also reached us and our sins. His plan was not to save just the chosen nation of Israel, but the all humanity.
1. Remember: we were cleaned by God through the blood of Jesus. By Christ alone.
2. Give others opportunity to receive the same Spirit we once received (like Cornelius)
3. Understand the salvation is for everyone, and we do play a part in outreach those people.
Heavenly Father, thank you for called us to be part of your family. Thank you for the opportunity to be here. Thank you that Jesus reach out us. Thank you that you made an unclean person like me, cleaned. Thank you for your forgiveness each day, even through my own mistakes. I pray that as this day passes, I can be a witness of your love to believers and nonbelievers. In Jesus name I pray.
